Secret Freegan

Hmm.. I came up with the “Secret Freegan” website when I was surfing to find out what grocery stores did with food that was expired.  This is a hopeful site boy.  This is a site about how people get food that grocery stores must throw out.  Dumpster diving, from what I have read.  Pretty interesting.

People approach me, and ask me for food, all the time around here.  Neighbors, friends, sometimes strangers.   Linda did, that poor woman who that asshole decided to beat up.   Despite all the laws passed, woman beating occurs around here, and frequently.  Linda was eating pasta and icewater for two weeks.  She really is a sweet person.  She has those mangy cats, which she will feed before she feeds her own self.

In the past couple days,  Linda, Fred and Bambi asked me for some food, and I gave it to them.    They are running low because of the food banks, and the food banks are not close around here, they have no transport.   Angela came over, and we had a fine lunch.  One of my best pots of beans, and some Juarez style tacos from the Mexican Restaurant that used to be the Super Pollo.

It is a myth that you can feed yourself, all the time from the churches, at least, as far as I know.  They ask you for I.D., and there is a database.   Food stamps are NOT that easy to get.  I cannot get them.  One thing, at the churches, they always have bread, it is often good, and they will always give you some bread.

Secret Freegan,  it is about dumpster diving.  People do this around here, but I am afraid to be wandering around here at night.  I wouldn’t do it around here, man I am scared to even go out there after dark.
